Burt is an Accountant that accidentally starting working in research. As an administrative personnel reviewing the projects at the Health Sciences Center became more and more intriguing and rewarding to see the progress made in health care. Burt enjoys seeing the full spectrum from the basic sciences research to translational studies to clinical trials, being a part of the HPV Prevention Center is rewarding to see the impact made on Cervical Cancer. Burt is from New Mexico, graduated from Farmington High School and received his degree from the University of New Mexico so his roots run deep in the community and state. When Burt is not at work he enjoys spending time with family and friends and supporting the Lobos.
