Julie has performed molecular biology and protein chemistry research in industry, at universities, in clinical labs, and in forensic science facilities for many years.  She loves designing the perfect protocols and troubleshooting to get desired results because of her hands on personality. Julie likes working at the Center for HPV Prevention because the center shares her goals and desire to complete research using the best possible approaches. Julie loves the mountains for hiking and the weather in New Mexico that allows outdoor activities year round.  The most important aspect of her life outside work is enjoying outside activities with her dogs. She loves to hike, climb, swim and kayak with her three poodles and is an active member of the Albuquerque tennis community.
