About Monique

Dr. Vallabhan is board certified in family practice with fellowship training in adolescent medicine and doctoral training in evidence based practice with over 20 years’ experience in health care. Native to New Mexico, she exclusively works with adolescent populations both in the clinic and in the research settings for which she has a passion to promote youth health and disease prevention. More recently, she joined the Center for HPV prevention to further contribute to adolescent health care promotion. Outside of UNM, she loves to hike.
