Beth loves the on-going challenge of researching community-based solutions to difficult problems, including obesity and diabetes, micronutrient deficiencies, and sexually transmitted infections. She appreciates that she's found a home at UNM with many like-minded colleagues who are dedicated to improving public health. Outside of UNM, Beth enjoys reading, playing the piano, and hiking and going to museums and music events with her two kids and her husband.
